First Aid & CPR Chile
Being a foster family in Chile means temporarily taking in a child or teenager under protection, until they can return to their family or a permanent solution is defined. The process includes assessment, training and support, and in the specialized foster-family programme families receive first-aid training from the health team.
In Chile, the Programa de Familias de Acogida Especializada is run by the Servicio Nacional de Protección Especializada a la Niñez y Adolescencia. Applying involves a suitability assessment and training, and families receive first-aid training from the programme's health professional — a nurse. No external certificate is required, but first-aid preparation is part of the programme's support.
Assessment, training and supervision are handled by the Servicio de Protección Especializada's technical team. First-aid and CPR training is in addition to — not a replacement for — the suitability assessment and the caregiving skills required, and it should be kept current.
我们严格遵循 ILCOR(International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation)的建议,该国际机构负责对全球复苏标准进行科学评估与制定。
