In Chile, workplace first aid is governed by Law No. 16,744 on social insurance against occupational accidents and diseases, administered by Superintendency of Social Security (SUSESO), Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, and Ministry of Health (for DS 594). Employers must ensure a trained first aider is available at all times.
