Si vous travaillez dans le domaine de la petite enfance au Chile — que ce soit en garderie, en prématernelle, en milieu familial ou en camp — la certification en secourisme et en RCR n’est pas optionnelle. C’est une exigence de permis, et pour cause : les enfants sont parmi les plus vulnérables à l’étouffement, aux réactions allergiques et aux blessures. Être préparé à intervenir peut tout changer.
Ce que le Chile exige
In Chile, nursery rooms and kindergartens under JUNJI and the Integra Foundation must, per the Integral Safety Plan (PISE) and their internal regulations, have staff trained in first aid along with emergency protocols. Law 21156 additionally mandates AEDs in high-attendance establishments, under the oversight of the Superintendency of Early Childhood Education. Certification is usually kept current by renewing it every two years.
Anaphylaxie et administration de médicaments
Kindergartens accommodate diagnosed food allergies and administer a child's prescribed medication at the parents' request with a pediatrician's certificate, but there is no specific anaphylaxis or stock-epinephrine rule, and in Chile adrenaline auto-injectors are essentially unavailable — only prescription ampoules are dispensed. It is therefore wise to record each child's allergies, obtain the family's written authorization, and keep the medication stored safely and within reach.
